Things That Annoy Your Website Visitors

Pop-ups
This can be very annoying. Visitors can’t concentrate on what they are focused to if there are windows popping out from their screens.

Scrollbars
Avoid long scrollbars specially the horizontal one. Make sure that if not all then most of the important information on your site can be seen and read easily. Having to scroll left and right while reading your content is so tiresome.

High Resolution and Colorful Background
Who wants to read something on a bright and colorful background? No one does! Your background may be so attractive but it doesn’t help beautify your page.

Broken links
Make sure that all your links still works. Update your site often.

Fonts
Make sure that all the fonts that you’ve used aren’t too small nor too big.

Music
If you want to put music on your site, make sure that it wouldn’t be on auto play. If your visitor can’t easily spot the stop button, they will surely click the close button instead.

Loading
Visitors shouldn’t waste their time waiting for your page to load. Avoid putting large and high resolution images. This will only slow down your site.
